{Haute Wedding} Chelsey + Robert

Planning a wedding is always an amazing experience for a wedding planner. You get to witness such an intimate experience and it never takes long before you fall in love with the couple and their families. The experience is always magnified when you already love the couple before the planning even begins! 

I was lucky enough to know Robert in college and was blessed to know Chelsey not too long after. They are such a fun couple with amazing family and friends! It was such an honor to be a part of their wedding! The gorgeous photos from Catherine Guidry Photography really highlight the thought and purpose that Chelsey put into their big day. There were so many special and unique nods to their families...I don't want to spoil it! Enjoy!

What a sweet father of the bride! Chelsey's gift to him was perfect! A side by side photo of her and her mother in the same gorgeous gown...I just can't!

Not only was the mother of the bride the amazing florist...but the reception was held at the bride's parent's home! Talk about a lovely backyard celebration...it was amazing!

Due to the fact that the groom went to my high school's rival...I must make fun of him for this groom's cake! Cats eat Dragon Meat! Go Wampus Cats! ;)

{Haute Wedding} Julie + Daniel

Beautiful blush with a pinch of gray scattered with other lovely neutrals...what a stunning color scheme for a wedding. 

Julie had the perfect palette and was cool as a cucumber on her wedding day. In fact, so was Daniel. Now that I think about it, everyone involved was stress free, calm, and simply wonderful. What an an amazing experience it was to work with Julie, Daniel, and their families. Don't mistake their calmness for lack of caring, because that wasn't the case at all. Julie knew exactly what she wanted. She was a purposeful and decisive bride that didn't stress over the unnecessary. Julie hired the perfect vendors to produce her vision...and then she trusted it to be done...and it was. Julie was a breath of fresh air and an absolute joy to work with....we had a blast! 

Kristen Soileau Portraits did an amazing job of capturing the easy spirit of the couple as well as the precious details of the day. Enjoy!

As a late night treat for her guests, Julie supplied milk and cookies! The guests loved it...and I might have tried one or two of the cookies...delicious!
